Instead we are fearful of change or to focused on the negatives or “what if” scenarios. Everyone will have a unique journey to reach their discovery. The journey will be made intentionally or unintentionally. Don’t get so focused on the goal that you don’t get the full experience of the journey. The journey is so critical.

Discover How To Enhance Your Mindset

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

We never completely put a full stop to the silent conversations that habitually go on inside the mind. What we deliberate about the most also determines how we think, and then we proceed accordingly.

If you teach your mind to think positive then it will do so and vice a versa.

How you contemplate about things is your mindset, and your view in turn control how you can influence your mind. Our mindset is developed right from infancy hence our upbringing and schooling can play a key role in this.

If you are an optimist, then keep watering the feelings and ideas, while if you tend to be a cynical person, it’s time for you to transform your mindset.

Here are 5 ways you can use to help alter your mindset…

1: Read Inspiring Books

A person whose mind is constantly engaged in positive thoughts and ideas will find it difficult to even think negative. A well-chosen book always encourages a person to think positive as the conclusions always possess morals (hidden or apparent) attached.

If the book is full with positive ideas we tend to keep some of them in mind. A person possessing negative feelings towards success ought to always select a good positive and inspirational book to read.

Here is a great book to start with power of the mind

2: Use Affirmations

Affirmations are things that you say, believe and feel. Affirmations are used to overthrow bad habits, stay focused on your goals and also speed up the process of achieving your set goals. Affirmations, that are encouraging in every aspect, can result in great change in your mindset thus changing your life.

This can be used as an efficient tool to activate feelings within you and influence your mind.

Here are some motivational mind power videos.

3: Spend Time With Your Family And Friends

Always spend some time with your near and dear ones and also the people whom you look up to the most. Their expectations from you can influence your thoughts and thus help you to observe the world in a different light.

4: Meditate

Stress is a ordinary matter in today’s world, and can in addition create blunders if you do not make attempts to eradicate it. Inferiority complexes and other psychological problems follow stress, which in the long run impede the pathway of positive thinking.

Meditation is a good solution for this. Meditation can be performed at any time of the day in solitude and will not only make you feel calm, but also help you to think positive.

5: Always Practice Your Skills

Recognize your effectiveness and skills and constantly try to make use of these skills. Put into practice your skills to boost your self-reliance. This activity will not only help to sharpen your skills but will also increase your self confidence.

Anyone of these 5 can be used as a powerful tool for changing the way you think about things and this in turn will help to transform your mindset.

5 Ways To To Practice Self Discipline

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

It is so important to have self-control; discipline impacts nearly any aspect of our daily lives, in particular a lack of self-control produces deminished self-esteem. If you want to be successful in life then having the ability to discipline your day is an essential characteristic to have in your make-up. spiritual healers

To assist in keeping you motivated you should have a daily diary, in here you can write everything you have succeeded with and all the things where you got slightly off track and gave in to temptation. This can give you the motivation you require to keep yourself disciplined.

Establish your goals; write these down in your journal. It is essential that when thinking about what you want that you establish goals which are realistic and workable within a workable amount of time. Planning goals that you cannot possibly hope to accomplish or which are not realistic will only lead to failure and low self worth. energy healer

Assuming you are to be self-disciplined then you should have a strong sense of self, but if you don’t trust in what is possible then do not assume that others will believe in you. Self-assurance leads to high self-esteem and this is half the battle when it comes to being self-disciplined.

Moderation is the key, if you smoke or drink alcohol then cut back. Don’t just state you are going to cut back or stop immediately, this simply results in failure. Instead think about the benefits you will attain by stopping; make notes in your journal all the positive aspects about what you are doing. If you over eat as an example then aim to cut back by a little everyday and if you are tempted to exceed the limit you established for yourself then structure yourself. Do doing something different, something you would not ordinarily do and keep in mind the positive aspects to self-disciplining yourself. healing energy

If you do fail to meet your goals, lecture yourself and then keep going forward, don’t waste time wondering why or how or think that it will happen again. Promise yourself that you will be more disciplined in the future.

Keep a journal of how you are progressing with your goals and reward yourself when you have remained self-disciplined. It’s okay to penalize yourself for failing but you have to reward yourself for the good as well.

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

What are you going to do when you get done doing what you are doing? Hello, I’m Eddie Lawrence and this is a small article written to persuade you to speed up and slow down! Living life full throttle will cause you to burn out or blow up. Learn to gear down, compress the brakes and park it for a while.
We live is such fast paced times, you can count on it…there’s always something else to be completed. So, if you don’t gear down then you are always going to be in a rush. Slowwwww downnnnnn.
Our American way of life for the most part is behind on patience. Our convenience serve me first oriented lifestyles has taught us that waiting is for people who don’t know how to make things happen. Patience is still a good quality and waiting a prerequisite for us develop the character we need for harsh times. Perseverance and endurance are learned when we have to wait. As someone once said, “By perseverance the snail made it to the ark.” All this rush drives us at a exasperating pace, until we find ourselves sidelined wondering what in the world happened.
You may say, “I tried slowing down and even stopped to smell the roses only to have a bee fly up my nose.” Well tell the bee to buzz off, that you’ve decided to slow down and stay awhile. Catch your breath and enjoy your wonderful God given life.
By slowing down, you will:
-Live a longer lasting life
-Live a much stronger life
-Get more out of the life you live
-Enjoy plenty of little blessings you are racing by each day
You may feel so absolutely snowed under that you don’t think you have any option but to live life at full speed. Living life at full throttle burns more fuel and wears the ole engine out much sooner. Make the slow down decision right now. Don’t wait on heart issues to slow you down. Don’t wait on a wrecked marriage to slow you down. Don’t wait on a teenager with an absentee busy parent to slow you down. Slow down now. You will discover that the surroundings is much more lovely when you slow down.
Living life at the speed of sound will get you to the end of your life much sooner. Yes you can kill yourself by living an impatient, hurried, stress filled life. You must learn to draw aside and have times when you relax, rest, and renew. Even Jesus, who accomplished more in a short period of time than anyone who ever lived took time to draw aside for rest and refreshing. So hurry up and slow down. As a pastor who spends a lot of time posting sermon outlines on the web, I just have to share a brief sermon with you. Here are 3 quick — (oops, sorry!) - three short recommentdations to help you slow down.
1. Learn how to say “No” and say it. This is the only way to keep your schedule from filling up and overflowing.
2. Get a schedule and plan for the major priorities in your life. That means, time for God, your spouse, your kids and you.
3. Take a number of mini slow-down breaks during the day. Seriously, it will make a enormous difference in your outlook, your health, and to the people around you if you will simply take a breather for a couple of minutes a few times a day, take a deep breath, relax, and think on your blessings. Try it! Of course you will have to slow down to try it.

Instructions For Acquiring The Proper Home Organization Strategy

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

No matter how large it is, the home storage and organization project that you will be doing, is fixable. This is not something that can be fixed in one day, however. Understand that home organization is a long lasting project. Think tiny tasks. Then get a piece of paper and follow the steps that follow.

1 - Start With a Home Organizing Goal

Come up with your home organizing goals and from there, prioritize these goals.

Write down all the areas that you need to organize then order the most important sections to work on. One reason to choose one area instead of another may be because this specific room is used most often, it is a room seen first by guest to the house, or it is an area that you feel could make the biggest difference to your own happiness. Write down the numbers, by priority, next to each room.

Then, on a different sheet of paper, write down your first room. Write down every one of the sections of the room that need to be reworked. These sections should be small projects. For instance, good projects for your chosen area could be: under the bed, on a work surface, the underwear drawer, and so on. While you are completing, you will proudly be able to mark off each of these sections.

Remember, neither of the goals are required to be completed in a day or even a week. Keep your mind on one section at a time. Working one task at a time is the quickest way to get organization in the home.

2 - Purge the Mess

Get all of the stuff out of the listed project area for the room.

If your first section is the floor under the bed, then this job simply needs you to take everything out of that spot. Nothing else.

3 - Separate the Good from The Bad

Sort the articles away from the section that you are undertaking.

Create separate piles for ‘garbage’, ‘belongs in a different area’, and ’stays here’. Note that:

* If an item hasn’t been used by you in six months, place it in the garbage pile
* If you use the item frequently, you need to keep it nearest to where you use it.
* If you don’t use the item frequently or just use it seasonally, then it can be put somewhere that is harder to retrieve, like on a top shelf or bottom drawer.

4 - Take Stuff Away

For right now, get rid of the articles that goes somewhere else.

If there’s stuff in the ‘trash’ pile, put it in the trash. If you have items in the ‘goes somewhere else’ pile, get it away from your section (this includes items that only need to go in a drawer below). What is left are items that only go in the section that is being worked on.

5 - Making the Storage Solution

Set-up a solution for organizing the section that you are organizing.

The section you are working on has to have a working system in place that works for you. Get organizers that will help you stay organized. If it is a drawer, dividers with labels may be the solution that works for you. If it is a shelf, dividers and labels might work, and so on. (Note the dividers and labels theme). The purpose is to make sure that you feel comfortable using the the new organized area and that it becomes more difficult to place the stuff in the erroneous area.

6 - Get Things Put Back

Now you need to put your stuff that go in that area, back into the area, using the organizer you put in place.

You can now remove this section off your list and either continue with another section or wait until the next day to do the next section……..just don’t procrastinate.

How To Cure Your Nervous Illness

How to Cure your nervous Illness
by Jennifer David

You should consult a doctor for any concerns that you may have with regards to your health.

For the simpler forms of nervous illness

Have you ever had a type of breakdown?

Have you ever had the feeling of fear that just does not seem to go away?

Have you ever felt stressed and not sure how to deal with it?

The feelings that occur that are constant; churning of the stomach, sweating hands and rapidly beating heart.

Whilst reoccurring attacks are; palpitations, ‘missed’ or ‘skipped’ heartbeats, pains around the heart, fear-spasms, trembling turns, giddiness, vomiting and breathlessness.

It is the constant symptoms that maintain the feeling of fear whilst the attacks that occur compound these feeling and make it more intense.

The cure that will help you are simple and yet many people spend their time doing the opposite.

The Cure

To cure these symptoms you have to:

Face it

Many people spend their time running away from their fears instead of facing them.

If you think about how many time you feared something before it happened and it either did not happen the way you thought that it would or it did not affect you in the way that you thought that it would.

I always say to my clients that fear is nothing more that false, evidence, appearing real.

F = False
E = Evidence
A = Appearing
R = Real
So as a very popular book title says “face the fear and do it anyway”

Accepting

This can be explained like this. You know how you feel when this or that, is happening to you or you think that something is going to happen.

You accept that you are going to feel fear in these situations.

Why not change you thinking?

Change your mood

How do you change your mood?

Start by thinking of something that you know will make you happy; something that you know would put a smile on your face.

You may say; I can not think happy thoughts when I am going through what I am going though.

OK I can see that … But ….

You can have a visual aid, a picture.

I use a picture of a beach. It shows sand, palm trees, and lots of see view where a sunset or rise could be, what ever I want to add to it. I use to carry it around with me where ever it went so that when I felt my mood going down, I would take it out and look at it.

Over time of carrying my picture around with me and taking it out to look at it when I felt the need, the picture would stay in my mind and I would just think of this picture and then I would visualize it in my mind and now this helps my mood. This takes time and patience with yourself and eventually you will get there.

Over time this will help you start to feel better in situations that would have made you feel fearful.

Although you maybe telling yourself that you have accepted that you feel a certain way does not mean that you have actually accepted it. What you say and what you are thinking should be in line with each other.

For example; if you say that you have accepted something but you are thinking that you can not stop whatever it is, then you are not in line with what you are saying and what you are thinking.

If you tell yourself that you are accepting that you feel a certain way in a situation then move on.

Moving on

Make a list of things that make you happy. At first this may appear heard but keep trying, first start with ten things and then increase until you get to fifty plus. This will help to keep you focused on positive things, whilst keeping your mind of your fears; it will also keep you How to get motivatd and stay motivated and keep your moods up.

Being patient with yourself

Be patient with yourself, and remember that everything takes time. You need to give yourself time with following the above information and little by little you will develop patience with yourself and find yourself feeling better and able to face it, accept it, and move on from it.

Tips And Tricks About Be Happy! For Happiness Universe And Life Were Created Against Impossible Odds - Great Article Ever.

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Be Happy!–For Happiness Universe and Life were Created Against Impossible Odds

Let us start our search for happiness from the very beginning. That is from the beginning of the universe.

The most plausible and widely accepted theory of the creation of the universe is the “Big Bang” theory of creation. According to it, the universe is created from an explosion in the super condensed material and consequent expansion of material. However, even if all the conditions for the creation of the universe were right at the beginning, many factors had to be right for the consequent formation of the universe. For example:

• Our universe is expanding like a polka dotted balloon which is being blown out. Each dot (representing a star or a galaxy) on it is distancing itself from each other. Now, if the rate of expansion of the newly created universe had differed even very minutely from what it were actually, there would have been no universe. A little slower and the cosmos would have collapsed back, a little faster and the cosmic material would have long ago completely dispersed.

• If the density of the universe were a little more, the universe would not be expanding but, due to the force of attraction of atomic particles, contracting, ultimately collapsing. If the initial density were a little bit less, then the universe would be expanding far rapidly than now and no stars and no galaxies would ever have formed.

• Both the mass and the volume of a proton are incomparably larger than those of an electron; but strangely enough, these two particles have equal (though opposite) electrical charges. Because of this fact atoms are electrically neutral. If the atom was not neutral electrically, each atom would repel the other and the entire universe would explode.

• The four fundamental forces in the nature, in decreasing order of intensity, are—Strong nuclear force, Weak nuclear force, Electromagnetic force, and Gravitational force. The difference between the strongest and the weakest is about 25 followed by 38 zeroes. Still within that great range the individual and the comparative magnitudes of the forces are delicately balanced otherwise the universe would not have existed.

If the creation of the sustained universe was a miracle, the evolution of life on it was also the same:

• Had our sun been 30% larger it would have been burnt out in four billion years, too short a time for intelligent life to evolve. Had it been smaller—95% of stars are smaller than the sun—other difficulties would have followed. Similarly, had the sun not been a source of steady energy for billions of years, had the orbit of earth around sun been a bit narrower or wider, had planet Jupiter been too close or too far to save earth from the rain of steroids, had moon not been so improbably large to stabilize the tilt of the Earth’s axis to around 23 degrees, had the solar system’s position in the galaxy been too near the edge or too close to the middle, advanced form of life would have been impossible.

• Carbon based molecules can only survive between the limits of 120° and -20° C and earth is the only [planet whose average temperatures fall within those limits. When one considers the universe as a whole, coming across a range of temperatures as narrow as this is quite a difficult task because temperatures in the universe vary from the millions of degrees of the hottest stars to absolute zero (-273° C).

• Nearly all of the radiation emitted by the sun falls into a single band that is 10-25 of the whole spectrum. Radiations which are necessary and conducive for life fall in this narrow band. This is also the only radiation under which photosynthesis works and our eye is able to see.

• Water also has extraordinary properties conducive for life—below 4° C it expands (so that even if ponds etc. are frozen at surface underneath water is not), highest latent heat, high thermal capacity, high thermal conductivity while that of ice and snow is low, high surface tension, and viscosity, etc.

The first step to happiness is to realize this happy but impossible odd of creation and life. We are extremely lucky to have a universe even more so to have a universe full of life. Since life is so improbable earth may be the only planet on which there is life. In living beings to be born as human being is the happiest thing which could ever happen to anybody!
