How To Reduce Stress

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

The simplest way to reduce stress is a massive problem especially for folks in western societies.

There are 3 kinds of stresses : Physical, Mental and Environmental or Social. The 1st group of stressors affect us physically, as an example : hunger, cold and warm, sickness, agony and injury, viruses, shortage of sleep. This mentally affects your mind leading to : isolation, fear, and death of a relative or buddy, threats to security, refusal, and depression. The Social aspects of your environment are : upsetting work, intense weather, industrial depression, family environment and mates. Job stress is the most vital dominators of our lives.

Some of the indicators of stress are : Stress and bewilderment, withdrawal and depression, feelings of isolation and disunion, boredom and job dissatisfaction and low self-image.

So how can you to cut back your stress? One factor, which is often lacking in our lives, is the nourishment of vitamins and minerals. Many of us eat junk food, some enjoy junk food, nibbles, refreshments which contain lots of sugar and so on. That sort of food will lead to sickness at some point soon, sickness leads to stress and stress leads to health disorders. This cycle of food to disorder is a proven medical fact. Medical research has also shown that in stress eventualities, particular vitamins are required to maintain appropriate working nervous and endocrine systems. Their depletion lowers your toleration, and capability to deal with stressors. B vitamins are abundantly supplied in protein heavy foods. Relaxation is the best tool you might use to reduce stress.

You are able to perform relaxation by following the strategies of: meditation, yoga, hypnosis, deep respiring and Progressive relaxation. As an example, you can just focus on deep breathing exercises. Your target is to calm your consciousness and lower your metabolic rate.

Stress organization and discovering stress management techniques that are catered to your needs are an integral part of the modern lifestyle. Music has always been a particularly vital part of our lives, from the youth to our adult ages. As part of our experience, music can have both physical and mental effects on us as humans. As well as the influence on our lives, music also has many healing qualities – some of us know that, music could be a very strong medium for changing our state, of how we feel. More in particular, music can be terribly efficacious in manufacturing a particularly deep and healing state of “middle” relaxation, reducing stress and even promote sleep. Music may also be used to help one in improving their self-image and furthering a person’s personal expansion, development, and transformation.

Handling our stress is crucial if not necessary to our overall contentment. Self-image and esteem is also intensely vital to ones’ well being. Listening to stress audio products and reading articles on health are just some of the helpful ways to combat stress.

Life Is Choices And Decisions You Make

Friday, August 28th, 2009

Stylist Fashion” - Life is like a road. There are long and short roads; smooth and rocky roads; crooked and straight paths. In our life many roads would come our way as we journey through life. There are roads that lead to a life of single blessedness, marriage, and religious vocation. There are also roads that lead to fame and fortune on one hand, or isolation and poverty on the other. There are roads to happiness as there are roads to sadness, roads towards victory and jubilation, and roads leading to defeat and disappointment.

Just like any road, there are corners, detours, and crossroads in life. Perhaps the most perplexing road that you would encounter is a crossroad. With four roads to choose from and with limited knowledge on where they would go, which road will you take? What is the guarantee that we would choose the right one along the way? Would you take any road, or just stay where you are: in front of a crossroad?

There are no guarantees.

You do not really know where a road will lead you until you take it. There are no guarantees. This is one of the most important things you need to realize about life. Nobody said that choosing to do the right thing all the time would always lead you to happiness. Loving someone with all your heart does not guarantee that it would be returned. Gaining fame and fortune does not guarantee happiness. Accepting a good word from an influential superior to cut your trip short up the career ladder is not always bad, especially if you are highly qualified and competent. There are too many possible outcomes, which your really cannot control. The only thing you have power over is the decisions that you will make, and how you would act and react to different situations.

Wrong decisions are always at hindsight.

Had you known that you were making a wrong decision, would you have gone along with it? Perhaps not, why would you choose a certain path when you know it would get you lost? Why make a certain decision if you knew from the very beginning that it is not the right one. It is only after you have made a decision and reflected on it that you realize its soundness. If the consequences or outcomes are good for you, then you have decided correctly. Otherwise, your decision was wrong.

Take the risk: decide.

Since life offers no guarantee and you would never know that your decision would be wrong until you have made it, then you might as well take the risk and decide. It is definitely better than keeping yourself in limbo. Although it is true that one wrong turn could get you lost, it could also be that such a turn could be an opportunity for an adventure, moreover open more roads. It is all a matter of perspective. You have the choice between being a lost traveller or an accidental tourist of life. But take caution that you do not make decisions haphazardly. Taking risks is not about being careless and stupid. Here are some pointers that could help you choose the best option in the face of life’s crossroads:
· Get as many information as you can about your situation.

You cannot find the confidence to decide when you know so little about what you are faced with. Just like any news reporter, ask the 5 W’s: what, who, when, where, and why. What is the situation? Who are the people involved? When did this happen? Where is this leading? Why are you in this situation? These are just some of the possible questions to ask to know more about your situation. This is important. Oftentimes, the reason for indecision is the lack of information about a situation.

· Identify and create options.

What options do the situation give you? Sometimes the options are few, but sometimes they are numerous. But what do you do when you think that the situation offers no options? This is the time that you create your own. Make your creative mind work. From the most simplistic to the most complicated, entertain all ideas. Do not shoot anything down when an idea comes to your head. Sometimes the most outrageous idea could prove to be the right one in the end. You can ask a friend to help you identify options and even make more options if you encounter some difficulty, but make sure that you make the decision yourself in the end.

· Weigh the pros and cons of every option.

Assess each option by looking at the advantages and disadvantages it offers you. In this way, you get more insights about the consequences of such an option.

· Trust yourself and make that decision.

Now that you have assessed your options, it is now time to trust yourself. Remember that there are no guarantees and wrong decisions are always at hindsight. So choose… decide… believe that you are choosing the best option at this point in time.

Now that you have made a decision, be ready to face its consequences: good and bad. It may take you to a place of promise or to a land of problems. But the important thing is that you have chosen to live your life instead of remaining a bystander or a passive audience to your own life. Whether it is the right decision or not, only time can tell. But do not regret it whatever the outcome. Instead, learn from it and remember that you always have the chance to make better decisions in the future. “Diamond Fact

Guide To Learn To Solve Your Problems

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

- How much percentage in a class of 30 students would agree to you that Mathematics is a great subject? You might answer “around 10 to 35%” and that is all. True, most kids today are not thrilled to solve Mathematical equations not because they do not know the processes involved, but because of the lack of interest in it.

In a similar way, our daily activities do not mean 100% joy and 0% problems. At times, we have more problems than joy. Fortunately, some individual are skilled in handling problems right. Want to know their secrets?

Well, carefree people, as some might call them, have one thing in common: optimism. These kinds of people do not mean they never had problems before. Try remembering a colleague, a relative, a friend, or someone from your community who has the brightest smile at the start until the end of the day. How many times did you see that person frown? Carefree people are fun to be with because their attitude is contagious. Have you tried asking them how they carry their problems lightly? Below are their secrets:

1. Learn to control your feelings by separating negative feelings from positive thoughts. This is the first step in solving problems. Only after you have cleared your mind with unnecessary thoughts can you start solving your problems accordingly.

2. Treat each problem as challenge and opportunity for self-improvement.

3. Free that scapegoat attitude. Are you pointing your finger or blaming others for mishaps? Take responsibilities for your mistakes. No one is perfect, so never put the blames on others.

4. Use a pen and paper, and rate the depth of the problem and possible answers to your problem. Probability law principle will allow you to evaluate how far you have thought of resolving your problems.

5. Keep a journal and treat it as a “secret friend” who is always willing to listen to your grievances. Write your feelings freely.

6. Develop a noteworthy hobby, for this will help you lessen or minimize stress in your life.

7. Take time off from work and create variations of your daily schedule. Relax and check out the best movies in town. Travel and meet new wonderful people. You will find these activities worthwhile in the long run.

The above tips will help you optimize those positive feelings of yours. Say you are already consumed by some problems. Here are the 1-2-3 steps in doing your problem solving:

1. Determine the root cause of the problem. If you think it is difficult, ask hundreds of why’s and what’s and you will soon find out the cause.

2. Think, strategize, and act for resolution.

3. Develop a strong desire to solve the problem.

4. Review the situation for you to avoid repeating the same mistakes committed beforehand.

Consider that everybody experiences lowliness many times, but problems are problems. They are there not to annoy you; but problems are created when you cannot accept your limitations. Once you accept your limitations, problem solving is just a 1-2-3 step, hassle-free, and a life-sharpening experience indeed. Hence, never consume or lock yourself in your room when problem strikes. Think that problems are states of your being limited to something you need the most. But if you cannot have that important thing, accept it. Let go and you will free yourself with worries. Remember, less worries mean less problems. If you think that you really want some time out because of problems, consider that there is another room available for you called “improvement”. “Diamond Fact“”Stylist Fashion

Additional Self Improvement Link To Your Site

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Stylist Fashion“. As a Webmaster, you are forever searching for ways to make more money from your website. One of the better ways to do this is to add or link some self improvement concepts into the contents.

Many webmasters have found that there are a few key programs they can add on their sites for which they can honestly expect to make a few extra dollars, a few hundred extra dollars, and in some cases, a few thousand extra dollars every month.

The trick to linking income from third-party programs is to carefully select programs that are relevant to your site visitors, while insuring that the program you promote does not directly compete with your own offerings.

If you are giving something to your visitors that they will find useful, above and beyond your normal offerings that is considered an “added value” item. Not only will it give your customers something they appreciate, it will help them grow closer to you as a business owner. That way, there will appear a link between you and the customers to pave the way for improvement.

This is helpful in accelerating the trust level that your customers have with you and your business which can only serve you well over the long term. By adding this foundation of trust, your visitors will come back to your site and buy from you again because they know that they can trust you to treat them well.

On the web, more so than in brick-and-mortar, the trust factor is the most important hurdle that the small business owner must overcome with his potential customers. There are so many scams and rip-offs on the web, that an honest soul is especially appreciated.

It is important to select your “added value” offerings based on the interests of your web site visitors. The closer your offerings are to the needs of your target market, the more successful you will become selling your added value products.

If your website is concerned with self-improvement, self-esteem, dating, relationships, love or marriage, then you could do very well for yourself promoting the e-book, “How To Identify Your Soulmate.”

Love relationships are failing in an alarming rate. In order to help as many people find happiness and self improvement. Years of research on love relationships would not be enough to understand these things.

Why do some fail and why some succeed?

No matter the specifics of the situation the reader may be in, “How To Identify Your Soulmate” can assist people in their quest to achieve success in their love relationships.

Products and services, which are relevant to the people who already visit your website and do not conflict or compete with your current offerings, are ideally suited to allow you to deliver added value offerings to your visitors.

These added offerings will help you to build the trust level that your visitors have with you. Not to mention that they will also help you add new layers of profitability to your website.

In the end, you should always strive to prepare your ezine or website to deliver more dollars. Target those people who want to have more than just material things in life. Add self improvement links to what you have already.

These added links and information would be your perfect vehicles to take you where you want to go. “Diamond Fact

Coaching

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Stylist Fashion” - Have you ever been a coach to a neighborhood team? I know how it feels the first time I’ve coached a team of seven-year-old soccer kids and how much they can really test my patience, not to mention sanity as they run around kicking the ball like ants to a huge, white crumb. It feels strange at first, having to be stared at by a bunch of kids who they will know that I’m not the one in the field. Sounds wrong in a sense, right? But what is the dead about coaching?

Coaching is all about being a, well, ‘coach’ in the corporate world of handlers, front-liners and even a couple of benchwarmers biding their time to be given a chance to perform. I know how that feels when I go back to my regular day job. Some players are just MVP material, and some of them are just to support the MVP’s so why bother sticking around? It sounds ironic when they say ‘there is no I in team’, but even the underachievers can be sore losers as well.

These are steps that can be done within the day, and no matter what, it takes determination to be a coach.

1. There is a WHOLE lot of talk these days about Corporate Team Building. There are many, many options: vacation packages, rope courses, on-going office games, ice-breakers, etc. Management can also purchase videos, books, and seminar packages to assist them in building up their organization into a team worthy of belonging. A little later I will give you some ideas of where you can go for information on these team-building tools.

2. The truth about motivation is waiting to be grasped! It is ripe and ready for you to put into action today. Don’t settle for mind-numbing gibberish. Get practical in 3 small ways to begin looking forward to your alarm clock sounding off each morning before you huddle with the team.

3. Experience is the best thing despite of what course you graduated in. There is something about being a people person who knows how to stir the energetic side of one individual, and more so when you mix it up with an entire team.

4. To question a person by his or her performance is sometimes required, but never question their knowledge or their intelligence. Sadly, I have seen a few mistakes from past coaches who never seem to understand what a player has to go through to get the job right. It will lead to further aggravation and maybe even hostility. If you want the job done right, then go do it yourself. You’ll see how it is to be at the receiving end and it will help your set a much better course for improvement.

5. Sending a player to the bench is probably the worse experience a coach has to go through, especially if your player is the top performer. In dealing with this kind of person, see to it that he spills his guts voluntarily. Egotism in a performer tends to make them lose their focus on even the smallest mistakes, then you can catch him or her red handed. Be firm, but understanding about it.

6. Don’t allow your position to blind you from what you are supposed to do. Even coaches are human enough to think that they are far more superior, but only by rank. Even if you have been in their shoes when you were their age, it’s better to dole out a piece of wisdom in order for them to realize that this will be for their own benefit.

7. Lastly, you should learn to trust yourself and your team. Decisions and performance are primarily your goals, and there are many of them to see if they could perform the task much more efficiently. So before you think about sending one member to the bench, have a good chat with him or her and see if they have any problems. If it’s too personal, then just encourage them to do their best and it also helps to give them a good, encouraging slap on the back.

I guess there’s all there is to it. Being a corporate drone myself, I know how important it is for a company to be successful, and we’re all part of that success. Coaches are there not to make your work a little difficult just because you have either an attitude problem or not much a performer, but they’re the guides who will help you perform as hard as you can possibly can. You’ll do them proud one of these days, as well as you. “Diamond Fact

Building Up Self-Assurance

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

Few people really make it in life. A majority of individuals are withdrawn and shy - they don’t have many friends. Boys are not able to get dates easily and girls fail to impress, all because they lackconfidence. Are you able to tolerate a public speaker whose speaking style does not carry conviction? Fearful speakers don’t entertain their audiences. They can’t be persuasive. In short, their speeches don’t have the essential pep and feeling to be exciting and end up falling flat. energy healing

A lack of self-confidence is what keeps most from being assertive, successful and ultimately happy in their life. Nevertheless, if you can recognize that you do not have the confidence you require, you can work on building it up and making your dreams for success become a reality.

How to we define Self-assurance
If you can realise the characteristics of an individual who is filled with confidence, this should aid you succeed in building up your confidence. How do you recognize that an individual is self-confident? It’s easy, really. If you are balanced and confident, you are self-assertive, your body language conveys your self-assurance, you keep your head high, you talk with self-confidence but not with arrogance, your attitude is confident, you pursue your goals with determination - well-prepared to overcome any obstacles because you don’t flinch at taking calculated chances whenever required. And when ever you make mistakes, you readily acknowledge them. Your goals are set realistically, keeping in mind a reasonable assessment of your assets, your weaknesses and your skills and talents. energy healing

Establishing Confidence
While attempting to build self-assurance, you may have a few questions to ask yourself. Is it feasible to establish self-confidence? If by nature you are not initially brimming with confidence, you may believe you remain that way forever. Not necessarily. You are able to actually take small but attainable steps in order to establish good confidence. However, confidence and success are interdependent. Commonly, you cannot achieve your goals without self-confidence playing a role inbeing part ofyour efforts and without success you can’t have confidence. energy healer

That being the case, how do you build confidence? Good question . Begin by setting yourself a small enough goal that you can achieve it without too much difficulty. Then achieve it and watch your confidence grow. Repeat the steps, everytime making the goal a little harder than the lat time and gradually build your confidence step by step.

When Man Get Their Happiness ?

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

Having said this, even this sort of happiness is a product of positive thinking and positive action, with good fortune lending a helping hand. In short, it is a product of will in relatively favorable circumstances. But isn’t it peculiar to imply that happiness can be of one sort or another? Are there not simply happiness and unhappiness? I think not. The sort of happiness that the sage talks about is compatible with misfortune. It is preeminently a doing from within – while without, the only prerequisite for it is that the sage be alive and capable of thought. It is a feeling of serenity, of being at peace with his situation and his conscience, as a well-adjusted and fully committed servant of life, of humanity, of God as he sees them.

However conscious he is of the subjectiveness – i.e., the individual limitations and hence the imperfection – of his view, he does live by it with utmost faithfulness, if also with a willingness to reevaluate it critically when he catches himself out in a misstep. His wisdom is forever a work in progress; it is always laced with some form of foolishness, which leaves him open to ridicule. Humility and compassion, plus humor are therefore qualities that he cultivates. He mocks and forgives himself, and above all strives to improve. He shows no complacency, but an acceptance of his humanness that he is intent on bringing to the highest possible degree of truth and nobility. And this delicate blend of resignation and struggle alone – in any situation, favorable or not – is indeed the secret of his happiness, which admittedly is a dry manner of joy that fills the mind rather than the heart.

It follows that this happiness leaves something to be desired: happiness in the fullest sense of the word (a state of fulfillment, when everything is going our way, in terms of results as well as efforts), which is a joy, ever so sweet, that fills both the mind and the heart. When the sage experiences this supreme happiness, he rightly feels blessed, and knows how precarious it is. Furthermore, he accepts this precariousness, or the fact that suffering and ultimately death loom ahead. Only battles are won in the war of life that will inevitably – despite every valiant effort to prevail – end in defeat.

Some will say that happiness in its so-called fullest sense leaves something more to be desired: the power to make this happiness infinite: immeasurably great and unlimited in duration. Among them, some will choose the path of faith, which allegedly leads to a heavenly afterlife, whereas some will choose the path of reason, which admits of no rosy belief based on wishful thinking and unbridled trust. This path leads nowhere as far as the beyond is concerned, or rather somewhere that is unknown – presumably so different from what is known that it totally exceeds our ability to conceive of its nature.

I count among these proponents of reason, these infidels, to whom the only source of meaning is not a paradisiacal destination, whose existence is supported by no credible evidence, but the journey itself, a rugged and uphill journey to be sure, with an abundance of twists and turns, some of which are propitious, others not. This journey is well worth the trouble, in my opinion. It is so independently of the above-mentioned destination, which people are free to pursue blindly or regard with skepticism (and with detachment to boot, in the best case scenario). It is all about the dignity of living and loving and the pleasure of succeeding in these difficult assignments. From this perspective, the purpose of life is none other than life itself, in partnership with our fellow creatures; and happiness is made possible – within certain limits – by our striving to achieve this worthy, albeit humble purpose.

The limits imposed upon worldly happiness may initially stick in our craw, but after due consideration, as we realize that life without these limits would be death, we accept them, and better still we welcome them. Life is by definition a dynamic state that presupposes a perpetual tension between desires and their satisfaction. Render this satisfaction absolute, you resolve this tension and consequently reduce life to nothing; i.e., something as inert as a stone. And this nothing – this inert something – is death, as I just pointed out. Not a brilliant prospect in the eyes of a life lover! WomenMind.com

Emotional Intelligence Training And Bottom Line Results: A Business Case

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Helping people enhance their Emotional Intelligence (EI) competence can offer an organization significant benefits that can improve profitability. Emotional Intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply information about one’s emotions and the emotions of other people in order to more clearly make decisions and guide one’s actions. These actions and decisions can directly impact the business’s customers and profits.

In 1994, Heskett et. al. identified a set of factors driving organizational profitability (HBR “Putting the Service-Profit Chain to Work”). Their work remains relevant today as it provides a model depicting how a business’s profitability is dependent upon effective leadership. The leader’s emotions drive the business’s climate and culture. More specifically, the emotions of the leaders affects the culture by impacting the emotions of the employees, which, in turn, affects employee satisfaction, which, in turn, impacts how willing employees are to put forth the extra effort (i.e., efficiency and productivity) and their loyalty.

The chain of events continues as the employee’s emotions and efficiency and productivity affect customer satisfaction and, ultimately, customer loyalty. In the end, it is customer loyalty that directly impacts bottom line results.

This sequence of relationships is driven by the leader’s emotions. The leader is not necessarily the Vice President, Director or CEO. The leader is the individual in charge of any team, manager, supervisor, staff etc. Self-leadership, then, becomes one of the most important skills to focus on. It is the internal ability to lead oneself to make the best decisions, exhibit the most appropriate behaviors, or take the best actions.

Positive and negative emotions affect every employee and the customers they serve. For example, when employees experience negative emotions, the result might be lack of trust and teamwork, more errors, poor quality, increased turnover, low morale and more. This would compromise employee performance, business objectives and key initiatives. As a consequence, customer satisfaction may decrease with an increase in customer complaints and defection. In the end, profitability would be compromised.

The value of developing EI competencies is supported by additional research. Daniel Goleman, author of the best-selling book, Emotional Intelligence, reported that EI was twice as important as other factors for excellent performance He also found that EI factors rather than cognitive factors made up 90% of the difference in the profiles between star performers and average performers (HBR Nov./Dec., 1998). Additionally, he discovered that when top management had positive moods, they worked together more cooperatively and achieved better business results (Primal Leadership, Goleman et. al.).

The Results:

Unlike typical organizational improvement interventions such as team building or effective communication, EI skill development is unique in that it has the potential to positively impact a multitude of organizational issues at the same time. It goes beyond just leadership competencies or management skills. The effects are profound. Additionally, EI skill development complements and enhances other principle-centered and values-based programs. As foundational skills, EI skills enable people to improve the “how” of achieving results.

Reported EI training results are significant. Participants have experienced improvements that range as high as 35% to 40% in increased teamwork, increased personal productivity, and reduction in stress and worry, and similar improvements in personal motivation, management of emotional reactiveness, work/life balance, creativity and more.

Your Personal Path To Freedom

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

When I had finished writing “Your Personal Path To Freedom” at paths to freedom it came out at over 2000 words, so I decided to publish it in 3 parts. This is the start of the series.

Before I explore this splendid journey, I would like you to consider what your own idea of freedom is?

Freedom of speech perhaps
Freedom to travel
Freedom to choose your political leader
Financial freedom
Freedom to follow a life of your own choosing

These are all worthy notions, but aren’t they all a little constrained by the pressures modern society places on us? Which ones are most important to you as an individual?

We are free to speak our minds, but we must be careful of what we say in public.

We are free to travel, but this freedom is impacted upon by our financial situation.

We are free to vote for the political party of our choice, but isn’t it true that the 51% majority can rule over the other 49%.

Does not our financial freedom depend upon how much money we can earn, when 1% of the population, has 99% of all the money.

We are free to lead our own lives as we wish, but is the career you are now in, the one you planned for yourself? Or did you plan at all, just taking the first job that you could get.

If you think I paint a dour picture dear reader, I use it to merely illustrate how difficult modern society can be, if we live life on its terms.

You see, personal freedom doesn’t just happen, our life is a journey and the point where you find yourself right now, is a culmination of the choices YOU made along the way.

Personal freedom comes from WITHIN, from how you view yourself, from how you relate to those around you, how you relate to your partners, and how you relate to the outside world.

Some people have what it takes to live a prosperous and generous life from the outset, but most of us have to learn via the hard knocks school of life as we go along.

For those of you whom are not one of the small minority, here are the steps that will set you on your path to freedom.

Step 1
You must TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN LIFE, and do not let your life be dictated to you by society! How do I do that I hear you ask? At this point you need do no more than to make the decision.

However, it is not sufficient to just make a statement in your mind, but you must transfer it to your subconscious mind by mingling the thought with feeling and emotion.

If you do not do this, then you will fail at this first step because your belief comes from the subconscious. So you must really want to take the responsibility on, to START down your path to freedom.

To aid you in this, think deeply and visualise yourself in the life you want to lead for a few minutes, when you first wake in a morning, and lastly before you go to sleep.

Step 2
DECIDE what it is you want to do. By this I am not talking simply of a job, I’m asking you what lights your fire! What is your passion, your burning desire! Do you want to be an entrepreneur, a dancer or an actor, a doctor or a nurse. Is it money you desire, or to be more expressive.

At this point education or whether you can afford it has nothing to do with it, remember, Henry Ford and Richard Branson both started their empires with no qualifications and no money.

You must simply identify your desire without any boundaries.

I must note for you at this time that, personal freedom is not just a matter of taking responsibility, and deciding what it is you want. Personal freedom is not just a money chase either, as I mentioned earlier, it comes from WITHIN.

Personal freedom is a two tier journey. As you pursue your outward targets, you must grow inwardly as a person at the same time. Indeed,

your success on your personal path to freedom will be directly linked to your personal growth!

Part 2 at self improvement|motivation will describe this more fully, and chart the next steps on your personal path to freedom.

Three Steps To Understanding The Law Of Attraction

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

Three steps to Understanding The Law of Attraction
By Jennifer David

To truly understand The Universal Laws you will need to understand that it is part of a bigger picture.

I have taken quotes from the Esther and Jerry Hicks because this was one of my starting points in learning about the Law of Attraction.

Three parts

1. How to get motivated

Is that which is like itself is drawn to itself.

Many of us require re-training in re-organizing our lives and are unaware of this. In many societies we are bombarded with information, many of this information is nothing more than a distraction, such as advertising, other peoples stories e.g. celebrities, films, newspapers, television and so on.

This distraction takes our thinking in different areas, away from thinking about ourselves and what we want in our lives.

Many people do not know themselves and without knowing are attracting all kinds of things into their lives without knowing why. Thinking about this, that and the other and so little time to sit down and think about ourselves.

In short we spend a lot of time drawing things into our lives that are other peoples dreams and very little of our own dreams.

2. The Law of Deliberate Creation

That which I give thought to and that what I believe or expect.

The more that you think about something the more power you give that thing to come into your life.

What you think most of the time is what you bring into your world.

Watching the news which is mostly bad news e.g. swine flu, plan crashes and so on. Watching the news alone as no power in itself but when you start to worry about it constantly and it remains in your thoughts then you begin to give it power and draw it into your life.

If you thinking about it you will start to see that most of what you think about come into your reality.

Saying like, “I said that would happen” and “I knew that was going to happen”

These all started as a thought, good, bad or indifferent, it started as a thought, because our thoughts become things.

There is a saying that I was told years ago and it goes like this,

“Your thoughts become words and your words become things”
